Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • flaky sea salt for topping

Method
 

  1. Whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar together until smooth.
  2. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking soda until no dry streaks remain.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  5. Spread the dough evenly into a lined baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until golden and slightly gooey in the center.
  7. Drizzle with melted chocolate and finish with flaky sea salt before serving.

Notes

Store cooled cookie bars in an airtight container for up to 3–5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve with cold milk, coffee, or vanilla ice cream for an extra cozy dessert.
