Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup pecans chopped
  • flaky sea salt for topping

Method
 

  1. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar together until fluffy.
  2. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking soda until incorporated.
  4. Fold in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and chopped pecans.
  5. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until golden on the edges.
  7. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while the cookies are warm.

Notes

Store the cookies in an airtight container for up to 3–5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve with cold milk, coffee, or vanilla ice cream for an extra cozy treat.
