Ingredients
**For the Crust & Crumble**
โข 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
โข 1 cup brown sugar, packed
โข 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
โข 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
โข 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
โข 1/4 teaspoon salt
**For the Apple Layer**
โข 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
โข 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
โข 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
โข 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
**For the Salted Caramel Sauce**
โข 3/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
โข 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus more for sprinkling)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until crumbly.
3. Press 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Reserve the rest for topping.
4. In another bowl, toss diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and 1 tbsp flour. Spread evenly over the crust.
5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp sea salt.
6. Crumble the remaining dough over the top.
7. Bake for 30โ35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the caramel is bubbly.
8. Let cool completely before slicing. Chill for cleaner cuts. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired.
