Description
These Pumpkin Brigadeiros are a fall twist on Brazilโs beloved sweet treat. Creamy, chewy, and rolled in cinnamon sugarโthey’re like pumpkin pie in bite-sized form! Perfect for Halloween parties, Thanksgiving dessert trays, or cozy weekend baking.
Ingredients
โข 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
โข 14 oz (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
โข 1/2 cup pumpkin purรฉe (not pie filling)
โข 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
โข 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
โข Pinch of salt
โข 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
โข Cinnamon sugar, for rolling (1/4 cup sugar + 1 teaspoon cinnamon)
Instructions
1. In a nonstick saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
2. Add sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin purรฉe, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 12โ15 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
5. Transfer the mixture to a greased plate or dish. Let cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
6. Once chilled, scoop and roll into 1-inch balls.
7. Roll each ball in cinnamon sugar until fully coated.
8. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
