Description
Juicy chicken thighs roasted to perfection and glazed with a sweet, sticky, and slightly spicy hot honey sauce. This easy dinner is ready in under 40 minutes and is perfect for weeknights when you want bold flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
▢ 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
▢ 2 tablespoons olive oil
▢ 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
▢ 1 teaspoon garlic powder
▢ 1/2 teaspoon salt
▢ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
▢ 1/2 cup honey
▢ 2 tablespoons hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot or your favorite)
▢ 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
▢ Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease.
2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Arrange the chicken skin-side up on the baking sheet and roast for 30–35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
4. While the chicken bakes, make the hot honey glaze: in a small saucepan, heat the honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar over low heat until warm and combined.
5. Remove the chicken from the oven and brush generously with the hot honey glaze.
6. Return to the oven for 3–5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
• Adjust the heat level by adding more or less hot sauce to the glaze.
• This recipe also works with boneless chicken thighs—reduce cooking time to 20–25 minutes.
• Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or fluffy rice to soak up all that extra glaze.
