Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper

1 tsp each of onion powder and Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tbsp minced garlic

24 oz jar Marinara Sauce

15 oz jar Alfredo Sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

16 oz pasta

Parmesan cheese

Dried parsley


Instructions

  • Prep the Crockpot
    Spray your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray to make cleanup a breeze.

  • Add Chicken and Seasonings
    Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Add the minced garlic on top.

  • Pour in the Sauces
    Pour the marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce over the chicken. Don’t mix—just layer and cover.

  • Cook Low and Slow
    Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

  • Shred the Chicken
    Remove the chicken, shred or cube it, then return it to the crockpot and stir it back into the sauce.

  • Add Mozzarella
    Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese until it melts into the sauce and turns irresistibly creamy.

  • Cook the Pasta
