Ingredients
1 lb boneless chicken breasts
Salt, pepper, garlic powder (for seasoning)
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
½ tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, thyme
1 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder
Instructions

Prepare the Chicken
Slice the boneless chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. -
Make the Roux
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly until a smooth, lightly golden paste forms (about 1–2 minutes). -
Build the Gravy
Slowly pour in the chicken broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Stir in salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder until well blended. -
Simmer the Chicken
